This defendant was a court appointed client who was facing 5-99 years or life in prison for the murder charge and 2-20 years in prison for each Aggravated Assault charge.

A Freestone County jury found this defendant Not Guilty of One Count of Sexual Assault of a Child and Two Counts of Indecency with a Child.

A Freestone County jury found this defendant Not Guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
State v. K.C.
This client was charged in one Indictment with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, with each habitual allegation carrying a minimum of 25 years to life in prison.
The client was charged in another Indictment with the same two counts as above against the same victim on a different date. Again he was facing 25 years to life on each count.
The client was further charged with another two count indictment for the same two offenses against a second victim.

Not Guilty of Felon in Possession of a Firearm in all counts and
Not Guilty of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in all counts.
Instead of spending 25 years to life in prison, he was released from custody after trial.
